Freefall Extreme
Freefall Xtreme (FFX) is the powered alternative to skydiving.Participants fly unattached in the air in a 180kph (120mph) column of wind produced by a power motor driving a DC3 airplane propeller. Participants are taught to fly independently and most achieve free flight in one ride.
FFX New Zealand holds the world record for flying the heaviest person in a vertical wind tunnel.
THE OPERATION- Two trained flight instructors assist throughout the experience and one has full control over the power system
- All flyers are provided with a specialised suit, full training in body flight techniques and safety procedures
- FFX is an outdoor activity but can be contained indoors.
- Weight range 25kgs to 125kgs
- Land requirements - basic footprint of 30m²
