The Shweeb

The Shweeb is a thrilling cycling ride where participants power themselves to over 50km per hour in a ‘world first’ adventure activity.
Shweeb pods race each other on separate monorail tracks. Riders lie back in a recumbent position for maximum comfort and minimum aerodynamic drag.

Riders rapidly click through seven gears and get up to their top speed, requiring just half the energy of a normal racing bicycle to travel the same speed. The Shweeb challenges participants to compete against an online International hall of fame. Other participants records can also be viewed.

The Shweeb inspires participation from all age groups in complete safety and the seat adjusts for rider heights between 1.4m and 2.0m. Clear pods and the metal roof protect from rain and sun, making Shweebing an all-weather activity.



THE OPERATION

• The Shweeb can operate as a scenic ride and / or a transport system
• Shweeb pods can be linked together to form a train and can be adapted to include more than one passenger
• As a transport system, the Shweeb can move customers between other fun rides or offer them the chance to tour the whole fun

• Minimum length (125m) and width (51m) and elevation allows land area below to be utilised for other attractions
