Luge riders can reach speeds of over 60kmh and rocket downhill around sharp bends and jumps, while easily controlling the
downhill speed.

The unique patented luge cart is a 3 wheeled polyethylene body. It incorporates a special enhanced steering and braking system,
providing full control over the speed and direction of the cart.

THE OPERATION

• Luge cart runs on a curved concrete track
• The track can be easily installed on most downhill terrains
• There are no motorised aspects to the cart so it is particularly quiet from an environmental perspective
• There are currently 5 tracks operating in New Zealand, with tracks in Canada and Singapore
• Luge tracks are generally accompanied by a ski lift or gondola to facilitate access
• Land requirements - 40m of vertical height needed to operate successfully - tracks can be of any length
